Pay the £25 GP pre-test call online. After your call, the kit balance is taken and your kit is dispatched within 1–3 business days by post.
2. Collect at home
Use the simple collection tube and return the pre-paid envelope to the laboratory.
3. Lab analysis
Your sample is sequenced using NGS technology, completed in about two weeks.
4. Receive your report
Access your 28-page report securely online. Add a GP review for clinical interpretation.
The science behind the test
MY GUUT™ uses next-generation DNA sequencing to identify and quantify the bacteria in your gut — capturing bacteria that cannot be grown in a lab. Results are processed through AI-supported bioinformatic pipelines developed with European universities and updated with current research. 70+ genera profiled · 28-page report.
This test does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition. Detection or non-detection of a microorganism does not imply the presence or absence of disease, and results are not a substitute for established clinical diagnostics. Does this test diagnose a medical condition?
No. MY GUUT™ is a wellness and insight test — it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and detection or non-detection of a microorganism does not imply the presence or absence of disease. We offer an optional GP review for clinical interpretation.
How is the sample collected?
At home, using a simple stool-collection tube. You return it to the laboratory in the pre-paid envelope provided — no clinic visit needed.
How long do results take?
Your sample is sequenced using NGS technology, with analysis completed in approximately two weeks. You then access your 28-page report securely online, on any device.
What does the report cover?
