Who it's for

Men who want a clear, objective picture of their health — whether you have a specific concern such as a lump, urinary symptoms, low energy or reduced libido, or simply want a considered baseline. Every test is chosen and reviewed with a GP, so results are interpreted in context, not in isolation.

Why a GP review matters

Prostate and hormone markers can be raised or lowered for reasons that have nothing to do with disease, and a single number rarely tells the whole story. Because we're a full GP and diagnostics clinic, a doctor connects your results to your history and symptoms — and tells you honestly what, if anything, is worth acting on.

Screening markers are not diagnostic: PSA and related tests are one part of the picture. A raised result does not mean cancer, and a normal result does not exclude it. Your GP will explain what your results do and don't mean.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly. With your consent, we'll also send a written outcome to your own NHS GP.
What is Proclarix, and when is it used?
Proclarix is a refined blood test that helps decide whether a prostate biopsy is needed. It's used when your PSA is in the 2–10 ng/mL range, adding information beyond PSA alone.
Are there extra costs for blood tests?
Blood tests include a £25 pre-test telephone call and £25 for sample-taking per visit. We'll always confirm the full cost with you before you book.
What does the testicular ultrasound involve?
A quick, painless ultrasound scan used to assess a lump, pain or swelling. It's consultant-reported, and a GP explains the findings with you afterwards.
Can I claim on insurance?
Many men self-pay, but we can provide an itemised invoice. Please check your policy first.
