Visa Medicals

Visa medical examinations in Preston

Travelling, working or studying abroad? We carry out the medical examination your visa requires — most on the same day — at our Bamber Bridge clinic. Every price includes the GP consultation, and the chest X-ray where your destination requires it, so there are no surprise add-ons.

FCDO-listed doctor

Recognised for embassy medicals

Many consulates require the examining doctor to be listed with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Ours is — so your examination, tests and signed forms are done in one visit, by a doctor embassies recognise.

  • GMC-registered GP examination
  • Accredited lab tests (UKAS / ISO 15189)
  • Forms completed & signed on the day
  • Chest X-ray arranged where the destination's form requires it

Visa medical pricing

Each price below includes your GP consultation. Rows marked “incl. chest X-ray” include the chest X-ray at no extra cost. Some destinations also need supporting documents (NHS notes, vaccination history) — we’ll confirm exactly what to bring when you book.

How it works

1. Book your appointment

Call, message or book online and tell us which country’s visa you’re applying for. We’ll confirm the price and what to bring.

2. Attend the medical

A GMC-registered GP completes the examination and any required tests (chest X-ray, bloods or vision) in one visit — most the same day.

3. Get your paperwork

We complete the official forms and provide your results promptly, so you can submit your application without delay.

What to bring

  • Photo ID (passport) and your visa application reference
  • The medical form provided by the embassy or sponsor, if you have one
  • Your glasses or contact lenses, if you wear them
  • A list of current medication and any relevant medical history
